Maria asked us to prepare a tattoo for her husband representing their son.

The tattoo had to be a small crab (for the cancer zodiac sign) and match the Maori inspired style of a turtle and a manaia already present on his arm.

We designed the cancer sign on the body of the crab, with symbols around it representing new life (the koru), protection (fish scales), and union (braid and double spirals).
