This Polynesian inspired forearm sleeve tattoo was requested by Thom to represent his passion for Defqon.1 and its music.
The Defqon.1 logo of the first event he attended is central redesigned to blend in with the other elements, surrounded by a circle of heroes to represent the artists who take the stage, with people around, and with waves for the moving crowds that are like a sea, tiki hand and eyes, and shark teeth for adaptability and strength.
A bigger tiki will remain on the outside of the arm for protection, with a row of warriors below it.
The valley at the base symbolizes isolation while the people and
braid on top symbolize unity.
The symbol called "dancing flame" was added as a symbol of community but
also as a nod to the fireworks used at the events.
The lizard in the center is a symbol of protection that sees the unseen and becomes a connection to the invisible world.
