The path of Kamehameha represents challenges faced with tenacity and strength (the hammerhead shark and the spearheads), and adaptability (shark teeth) in order to reach stability and peace (the sun shaped by mountains that is in the center of the tattoo).
Within the sun, the flower of hibiscus is a symbol of beauty and carpe diem, living every moment to the fullest.

The row of birds symbolizes voyages and there are two frangipani with cat paws.
The braid symbolizes union, extended to other people to help them achieve their goals (the star in front of their paths).
